A High Street in Chester, UK. The different colour temperatures of the mixed lights created this look where the yellow colour cast created by the street light changed the image into one about colour with the daylight balanced light illuminating the blue do contrasts against the yellow cast of the street light.
The background have been 'burnt to black as it distracted from the simplicity of the tree, fence and the person standing under the tree.
I found this shop in the Beijing financial street shopping area had workers changing the advertising board late at night which provided a nice back drop between the men at work and the division between the wall and the lights.
The look of the model in the shop advert suggested an image. The one I saw was to have someone look at the image in the windo to try and work out what I was taking a picture of, which would look like the model was looking at the passer by. As is usual in China, men and women use the streets to exercise. This man was exercising by walking backwards and looking at me as he passed the camera. I got this image on his second pass.
